Where we work: New York
New York websites that stay fast, secure and lawsuit-ready.
SpeedSolid has a team in New York City and clients across the state. Hosting in our Ashburn, Virginia data center for fast East Coast loads, Eastern time support, and a team that already handles the state’s accessibility and privacy rules.
Why New York businesses call us
What a New York small business needs from its website team.
Website accessibility lawsuits
New York federal courts see more website accessibility lawsuits than any other state, with New York City businesses the most common targets. Our accessibility menu, statement page and fixes to the issues scanners flag are included on Core Plus and Core Pro.
SHIELD Act data security
New York’s SHIELD Act requires reasonable safeguards for the private information a business collects, including through its website. We keep the site patched, scanned and monitored, keep sensitive data out of plain forms, and provide the privacy and cookie notices.
Fast East Coast hosting
Managed hosting runs in our Ashburn, Virginia data center, a few milliseconds from New York, with a 99.99 percent uptime guarantee. Support runs in Eastern time.
Multi-location and multi-borough businesses
Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island locations with different hours and phone numbers. We keep every location page accurate and the maps working.
Agencies that moved on
New York has thousands of agencies and many of our clients came to us after theirs closed or raised prices. We document everything and become the one team that knows your site.
Multilingual pages
Spanish, Chinese, Russian and other language pages are standard for many New York businesses. We keep translated pages working after every update.
Legal references on this page are general information, not legal advice. Laws change; confirm current requirements with your attorney.

How we compare
Why not a local freelancer, a big-box host or just leaving it alone?
| What matters | SpeedSolid | A freelancer | Big-box host | Doing nothing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who answers when the site is down | One team that knows your site, phone and tickets 24/7/365, site-down handled first | Whoever built it, if they still reply | A chat queue that does not know your website | Nobody, until a customer tells you |
| Updates and security patches | Monthly updates, urgent fixes right away, malware monitoring and cleanup | When you remember to ask | Server only. Your WordPress, plugins and forms are on you | Never, until the site is hacked |
| Contact form delivery | Authenticated email, a test submission every day | Set up once, never checked again | Not their problem | Leads silently go to spam |
| Backups | Monthly full backup plus a copy before every update round, restore for $50 | Maybe | Often a paid add-on, restore on you | None |
| Accessibility and cookie tools | Included on Core Plus and Core Pro, with a statement page and consent banner | Extra project | Not offered | Exposed to demand letters |
| Price | From $99.99 a month, no contract | $75 to $150 an hour, unpredictable | $30 to $60 a month plus every fix at your cost | Free, until it is not |
Your first 30 days
What happens after you sign up.
No technical homework on your side. We move the site, test everything and take it from there. SpeedSolid is headquartered in California with teams and clients in Texas, New York, Florida and Hawaii, servers in multiple US regions, and support in US business hours.
Days 1 to 3: we take over
We collect logins, copy the site to SpeedSolid hosting, run a full security and speed check and fix the obvious problems before anything is switched.
Days 4 to 7: we switch and test
Domain moves to the new server with no downtime scramble. Every page, link and form is tested on desktop and phone, and your first automated form test runs.
Weeks 2 to 4: we tune
Updates applied, caching and images tuned, accessibility and cookie tools installed on Core Plus and Core Pro, backups scheduled. You get the first monthly report.
What your site runs on
Enterprise infrastructure, with a human team in front of it.
SpeedSolid runs on enterprise cloud infrastructure that is audited and monitored around the clock, and we pass those commitments down to your website. What that infrastructure does not include is someone who knows your site and answers the phone. That part is us.
Audited data centers
Independently audited for SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS Level 1, with HIPAA-eligible infrastructure available on Core Pro private servers.
Published uptime commitments
Core Pro private cloud and managed WordPress servers carry a 99.99% commitment, shared hosting 99.9%, with a 24/7/365 network operations center behind all three.
East and West Coast servers
Northern California, Los Angeles and Ashburn, Virginia, with an Amsterdam option for European traffic. Your site sits closest to your customers.
Uptime commitments and certifications apply to the underlying infrastructure. SpeedSolid plan commitments are listed on the pricing page.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Where is the hosting for New York sites?
Managed hosting runs in our Ashburn, Virginia data center, with a 99.99 percent uptime guarantee, 24/7/365 network operations and DDoS mitigation. Core Pro private servers can be placed in an East Coast cloud region on request.
Why do New York businesses get so many accessibility lawsuits?
Federal courts in New York have been the busiest venue for website accessibility cases for several years, and New York City businesses are the most frequent targets. The practical defense is a site that passes the common scanner checks, an accessibility statement and a way for visitors to request help. All three are included on Core Plus and Core Pro.
Is support in my time zone?
Support runs in US business hours across Pacific, Central and Eastern time, with monitoring 24/7/365. Site-down issues are handled first regardless of the hour.
Do I have to be on WordPress?
WordPress is our specialty, but monitoring, business email and the accessibility and cookie tools work on any website. When you are ready, we migrate the site to WordPress on SpeedSolid hosting for free.
What does it cost?
Core is $99.99 per month, Core Plus is $149.99 per month and Core Pro starts at $299.99 per month, month to month. Pay annually and save 10 percent. Moving your existing site to SpeedSolid is free on every plan.
